The American Institute of architects
Academy of Architecture for Health Healthcare Design Conference 2015 AAH 70th ANNIVERSARY 2015 is a very special year for us…we are celebrating 70 years!!! It is amazing to see how far our association has grown and evolve through all the decades. Most of it, thanks to your dedication to this profession, your commitment to the AAH and the leadership through the years that devoted time and efforts to develop initiatives to help and further engage our members. We have to celebrate our history and wish for the new decades to come. So join us for a night of friendships, networking and stories.

AAH MISSION STATEMENT Improve both the quality of healthcare design and the design of healthy communities by developing, documenting, and disseminating knowledge; educating design practitioners and other related constituencies; advancing the practice of architecture; and affiliating and advocating with others that share these priorities.

DESIGN AWARDS – 2016 GOALS Evaluate the design awards categories
Solicit funding / sponsorship for the design awards program. The goal is to cover the cost of the supplement and cost for Jury to convene in a central location. Furthermore, if possible we would like to offer a free registration to the Jurors as a gesture of thanks. Marketing – we would like to develop a marketing plan for the design awards with the intent to raise the number of submission as compared to the previous years. Through the AIA, we can advertise at no cost in Architect magazine as well as various knowledge community newsletters. I few are able to secure funding/ Sponsorship, we could consider external and other media advertisement and publications Greater visibility of the awards at AIA National Conference
