3 Isla Pinta animals Swallow tail seagull Its is the only fully nocturnal seagull and seabird in the world. It preys on squid and small fish. Marine iguanas They can dive over 9 meters into the water. You can find them in the slightly more rocky areas of the Galapagos island and sometimes in marshes. Lonesome Jorge In the tortoises last years they were known as the rarest creature in the world; it is so rare because there is a lack of women in the species. 5 Santa Cruz’s animals Galapagos Tortoise Largest living tortoise and is the 14 th heaviest living reptile. They eat cacti, grass, leaves and berries and are herbivores. White Cheeked Pintail It occupies waters and swamps. The diet of these birds is aquatic plants and small creatures. Their nesting takes place on the ground under long grasses near water. Great Blue Heron The herons diet contains many different things such as: Fish, Shrimp, Crabs, aquatic insects, Rodents, small mammals, small amphibians, small reptiles and small birds. Their habitat is marshes, swamps and shore lines. Galapagos fly catcher In length, the Galapagos fly catcher is 15-16 cm big. It lives in tropical dry forests and shrub land which includes cacti. 7 Isla Santa Maria animals Pink flamingos This creature feeds on blue-green algi and plankton. Pink flamingos are also a type of wading bird Galapagos sea lions These sealions feed on sardines or other small fish. Predators are sharks and killer whales. They're often found sunbathing on beaches and are an endangered species. Green sea turtles The adult turtles eat kelp and Algi. Kids eat various meats. They live in shallow waters with sea grass beds to sleep on. Sally light foot crabs This Crab eats a range of algi and sometimes dead animals.
