2 Vodafone Group Plc Vodafone is the largest mobile telecommunications network company in the world. Vodafone has equity interests in 27 countries and Partner Networks in a further 33 countries. At 31 December 2005, Vodafone had approximately 179.3 million proportionate customers worldwide.

3 What Does Vodafone Group Plc Do? What Is Its Trade? Vodafone Group Plc is a mobile telecommunication corporation. It supplies customers with mobile voice, paging and mobile data and Internet services. In the UK it is a well known mobile phone network.

Jobs are currently being advertised in Belgium, China, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxemburg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Romania, Spain, Sweden, UK, USA. These countries are all MEDCs.

8 Impact Social Vodafone and the Vodafone Foundations made total contributions of £34.6 million to social projects in the 2004/05 financial year, an increase of 50% from the previous year. This includes our contributions to relief work after the Asian tsunami in 2004. The majority of this total, £33 million, is cash donated by Vodafone to a range of charities, including the Vodafone Group Foundation and local Vodafone foundations.
