6 In pop culture, people have been turning into wolves on screen as far back as 1913’s silent film “The Werewolf,” but the teenage-werewolf story really begins in 1953 -Alex Pappademas. “We are all Teenage Werewolves” New York Times.

7 “ The horror of Werewolves”- a compare and contrast article of the werewolves from the past and today He explains the werewolf characteristic as a bloodthirsty monster when the myth was first told and the modern day werewolf, which is a male teen that lives a normal life and has the same anxieties as any other teenage male like grades, girls and sports. The author proclaims, “what is next?” as in what new transformation of the werewolf character will there be in the next following years.
