2.  This poem is a tribute to marriage.  The last two lines are stating that they should love each other so well so that they will live on after death.  The speaker is passionate, loving and devoted to her husband.

3.  The speaker believes that God had the right to take everything and instead he left us enough.  The speaker believes that God’s will is responsible for the burning of her house.  The speaker does not feel anger toward God because she believes that everything she ever had was a gift from God.
