4. Congratulations to the basketball team, they defeated Taylor Allderdice last night – the score was 73-28. High scorers included Taylor Renk 21 points and CC Cromer, Alexis Sestric, Anna Tassari, Jayde Boyd.

5. Student Council will be selling candy grams for $.25 each starting today and continuing until February 10th during all lunch periods at the Student Council table. Be sure to stop by to spread some love. Mary Beth Miller

6. Appalachia Mission Trip: An email with an application and details about the deadline for submission is going out on MONDAY, FEB 8. This will be sent to all those students who expressed interest in the trip.

7. ALL GCI SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS WHO WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN THE BOOK GROUP AS THEIR ENGAGEMENT ARE REMINDED TO FINISH ENRIQUE'S JOURNEY BY FEB 17. YOU WILL NEED TO SIGN UP FOR BOTH CCW SESSIONS ON THAT DAY.

8. Celebrate Catholic Schools Week FREE Dress Down Day on Friday!

10. Attention Juniors and Seniors: On April 15th, Central and Oakland Catholic will be hosting their annual Dancing with the Vikings charity event. If you are interested in dancing please email Mary Beth Miller at mmiller@oaklandcatholic.org. Within the email include the style of dance you wish to perform, i.e. ballet or hip hop, etc. and any athlete you may want to dance with. If you do not already have a partner one will be provided for you. Please contact her by January 21st.
