WORDS OF LOVE

Across the gateway of my heart I wrote, “No thoroughfare” but love came laughing by, and cried; “I enter everywhere”

I pray not for wealth, I pray not for honors, I pray not for pleasures, or even for the joys for poetry. I only pray that during all my life I may have to love; that I may have to love to thee

True love is like ghosts, which everybody talks about and few have seen

To say that you can love one person all your life is just like saying that one candle will continue burning as long as you live

Sow seeds of love and gather blessings of the spirit.

However dull a woman, may be she will understand all there is in love; however clever a man, maybe he will never know but half of it

Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self- seeking, it is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

In the spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love.

Never forget how much you are loved.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.

The road of life is made smoother when traveled with someone we love The road of life is made smoother when traveled with someone we love.

May this day begin with a gentle ray of hope, be filled with moments of love, and end with a soft note of peace.

Love in the heart wasn't put there to stay; Love isn't love 'til it's given away.

If I give you a reason for loving, I give me a reason for living.

Love is the beginning of forever.

A loving heart brings joy to all seasons.

Love sees all, forgives all, and remembers.

Love is a gift, handmade by the heart.

To love and be loved is the greatest joy on earth

He who has a loving heart Can mend the things that fall apart.

Miles can't separate us when we are close in heart.

This brings a bunch of wishes For fun the whole day through And every wish is made with love Especially for you.

With love this wish is sent your way, for a very special kind of day.

Today and always, may loving memories bring you strength, comfort, and peace.

May you know the peace and comfort This heartfelt thought imparts: The ones we love are never gone For they live within our hearts.

It doesn't matter where you go in life, or what you acquire; it's who you have beside you that really matters.

Choose your love, then love your choice.

L'amour, l'amour fait tourner le monde [It's love, it's love that makes the world go round].

It's gude to be merry and wise, It's gude to be honest and true; It's gude to be off with the old love, Before you are on with the new.

To see her is to love her, And love but her forever; For nature made her what she is, and ne'er made sic anither!

She walks in beauty, like the night Of cloudless climes and starry skies; And all that's best of dark and bright Meet in her aspect and her eyes: Thus mellowed to that tender light Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

Anything will give up its secrets if you love it enough.

In our life there is a single color, as on an artist's palette, which provides the meaning of life and art. It is the color of love.

Do you not see that you and I are as the branches in one tree? With your rejoicing comes my laughter; with your sadness start my tears. Love, could life be otherwise with You and Me?

What comes from the heart goes to the heart.

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.

The most valuable things in life are not measured in monetary terms. The really important things are not houses and lands, stocks and bonds, automobiles and real estate, but friendships, trust, confidence, empathy, mercy, love and faith.

We love the things we love for what they are.

Love is an irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired.

Where there is love there is life.

Love is not blind - it sees more, not less.

We can do no great things... only small things with great love.

The best portion of a good man's life is his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.

Love is the difficult realization that something other than oneself is real.

The first duty of love is to listen.

Thou wast that all to me, love, For which my soul did pine-- A green isle in the sea, love, A fountain and shrine, All wreathed with fairy fruits and flowers, And all the flowers were mine.

The course of true love never runs smooth.

Love means never having to say you're sorry.

Doubt thou the stars are fire; Doubt that the sun doth move; Doubt truth to be a liar; But never doubt I love.

Life is to be fortified by many friendships. To love and to be loved is the greatest happiness of existence.

There is no remedy for love but to love more.

To love is to feel the sun from both sides. To love is to feel the sun from both sides.
