12 12/15 Chair:Seungyun Lee / ETRI Secretariat:Yusung Kim / KAIST Mailing-lists:ipv6@anf.ne.kr Background: ANF should take lead in advanced networking with IPv6 by deploying high performance IPv6 infrastructure over R&E network in Korea. We provide the technical guidance for the deployment of IPv6 and promote the development of IPv6 applications. This is to aim to facilitate the IPv6 production service. Objectives: Deployment of Gigabit native IPv6 production service Promotion and Facilitation of IPv6 network and applications Scopes: IPv6 Management Group Provide stable IPv6 services Coordinates IPv6 Network operation activities Provides a platform to test various IPv6 technologies and its applications among members IPv6 Application Development Group Identify requirements for applications which could evidently benefit from IPv6 Facilitate research and development of new applications Strive to bridge the gap between IT experts and domain scientists Encourage and conduct collaboration or joint projects among participates Milestone: April 04Establish a Gigabit Native IPv6 Network(6GN) with initial members (1 st Phase) May 04IPv6 application test with basic scenarios June04Extend the 6GN to the associated members (2 nd Phase) July 04~IPv6 application test with full scenarios and service operation Sep 04(?)~Extend the 6GN to the APAN IPv6 Task Force member (JP, CN) (3 rd Phase) [Ref.] Charter of ANF IPv6 Task Force
