Agenda Welcome Presentation of each project/contract –Digital Pathology and Integrative Query System (Ashish Sharma) –DICOM Working Group 30 (Joe Kalen) –Co-clinical and animal model data (Bob Cardiff) –Pilot Challenges and Challenge Management System (Karl Helmer) Coordination between projects –MICCAI Coordination with QA team Coordination with tech writer –Review of wiki Close out –Use ppts for Monday’s imaging community call

Contract Period of Performance Digital Pathology and Integrative Query System –July 24, 2014 – January 23, 2016 DICOM WG-30 –June 26, 2014 – December 31, 2015 Pilot Challenges –December 18, 2014 – June 17, 2016 Co-clinical and animal model data –April 13, 2015 – April 12, 2016

Accomplishments Digital Pathology / Animal model –UC Davis provided WSI and annotations to Emory –Emory provide feedback on data capture –UC Davis modifies data capture tool (Spectrum DB) Pilot Challenges / DICOM WG-30 –MGH provided images to DICOM WG-30 for testing Pilot Challenges –Stanford and MGH are working together to set up connection between CodaLab and ePad –WashU / Emory and MGH are working together to bring images from TCIA to ePad 4

DICOM headers for animal model in-vivo images MICCAI challenges –Infrastructure questions need to be answered –Call with MICCAI coordination group –Initiate discussion during status calls DICOM WG-30 test images should go into TCIA Call about tool to create DICOM header (WashU, Joe Kalen, David Clunie, UC Davis team) DICOM WSI – is there a way to get them / connect them to TCIA 5 Coordination points that needed follow up

Dependencies / Linking of Projects Creation of PathAIM annotations and markups for animal images DigPath –Tools and libraries to support the creation, consumption and management of PathAIM Delivered to QA – August 2015 Co-Clinical –Submit Whole Slide Images and Demographics May – October 2015 –PathAIM mark up and annotations June – October 2015 6 UC Davis team to provide input on markup and annotations for animal images UC Davis team = user acceptance testing during development

DigPath –Pilot a data mashup and integrative query system Delivered to QA – December 2015 Co-clinical –Submit Whole Slide Images and Demographics May – October 2015 –PathAIM mark up and annotations June – October 2015 –Prepare CMGI Images May – July 2015 –Mark up In-Vivo Images July – August 2015 –Submit CMGI images July – November 2015 Need to agree where to store the data to make them accessible to the query system. 7 Dependencies / Linking of Projects Providing animal model/co-clinical data for integrated queries

DigPath –Pilot a data mashup and integrative query system Delivered to QA – December 2015 Co-clinical –Submit Whole Slide Images and Demographics May – October 2015 –PathAIM mark up and annotations June – October 2015 –Prepare CMGI Images May – July 2015 –Mark up In-Vivo Images July – August 2015 –Submit CMGI images July – November 2015 Agreement to store the whole-slide images and annotations at Emory University 8 Dependencies / Linking of Projects Providing animal model/co-clinical data for integrated queries

Pilot Challenges –Execute two more challenges March to June 2016 Co-clinical –PathAIM mark up and annotations June – October 2015 –Mark up In-Vivo Images July – August 2015 –Submit CMGI images July – November 2015 –Submit human BrCA Images November 2015 – April 2016 9 Dependencies / Linking of Projects Providing animal model/co-clinical data for pilot challenge

Dependencies / Linking of Projects DICOM for animal model images Co-clinical –Submit CMGI images July – November 2015 DICOM WG-30 –Collecting images now –Images can be used as test cases 10

Working with the QA team Digital Pathology –QA Engineer Reza Mehri –Requirements before we go in QA Design Document Requirements Definition Document Architectural Review Checklist (ARC) –https://wiki.nci.nih.gov/display/sysdeploy/CTIIP+Digital+Patholo gy+ARChttps://wiki.nci.nih.gov/display/sysdeploy/CTIIP+Digital+Patholo gy+ARC Provision Target Environment (PTE) –https://wiki.nci.nih.gov/display/sysdeploy/CTIIP+Digital+Patholo gy+PTEhttps://wiki.nci.nih.gov/display/sysdeploy/CTIIP+Digital+Patholo gy+PTE –App scan for security vulnerabilities –508 compliance scan –Use the same QA server for Dig Path and Pilot Challenges? 11

Working with technical writer Carolyn Klinger Helped us setup the wiki structure Review of wiki structure Goal: –To make the wiki public 12
