4 17-Sep-2008Lab-Wide EVMS Project Core Team Meeting 4 Oversight Committee comments Items needing Core Team discussion –Concern about using DOE escalation rates, since these are seen as not valid. Alternate language after Finance develops their rates? –General concern about using must/should where maybe we could use may/can, don’t be too prescriptive if we don’t have to be. –Several comments that requiring annual training is too much, so then what do we want for training ongoing? –Free physicist policy – not included yet, where should this be covered? In system description or cost estimating procedure? Note, Directorate talking with Kovar about this today. –Contingency – we state that it’s returned to the customer if it’s not used. Comment is that this is not our policy. Is it?

5 17-Sep-2008Lab-Wide EVMS Project Core Team Meeting 5 Next Steps of Review Process 17 Sept – final date for OSC to return all comments to Elaine 23 Sept – Core Team has one consolidated version of each document back to Elaine 26 Sept – documents to EG&G for external review person 1 Oct – EG&G external person returns any comments electronically 8 Oct – Core team has picked up any comments necessary from EG&G and docs are final 17 Oct – documents signed by Pier and others
