1. You and the people in your country have discovered a huge amount of oil reserves. Oil is a very valuable resource that helps your nation run industry, fuel automobiles, and heat homes. As a founding member, you must decide what to do with the oil.

3.  As a founding member of your new country, it is your responsibility to figure out certain laws about the work force. You need thousands of workers to maintain your beautiful nation and you must decide their fate.

4.  A. Place controls and regulations on working conditions and have the workers compete over jobs, wages, and hours  OR  B. Place workers into certain jobs where they are necessary, and determine wages and hours yourself.

6.  A. Make the price of housing competitive, and hope that whomever could not afford housing would leave your country  OR  B. Construct government owned housing and apartments in tight quarters, enabling everyone modest living accommodations

7.  Your new nation is in a state of emergency. There is an infestation of potato bugs and it is killing crops. You must decide something quick or your nation will suffer dire consequences.

8.  A. Raise the price of foods and display messages to the public that wasting food will not be permitted  OR  B. Place strict controls on the food supply, and only allow people to purchase a certain amount of food

9.  A new nation needs many educated people to keep up with an always changing and competitive world. As a founding member you must decide on how to run your educational system.

Make enrollment mandatory, set up school like businesses, and have schools compete over enrollment, where the upper class would go to expensive schools and the lower classes would go to the less expensive schools  OR  B. Make schools free to the public and allow individuals the freedom to choose whether or not they want to attend
