2 Funding Highlights Basic Education Funding – same as last year Special Education Funding - $20 million in new dollars which is a 1.9% increase (not included in numbers released); to be derived from Special Education Funding Commission Ready to Learn Block Grant - $341 million (includes $100 million existing Accountability Block Grant)
