2. Jer 31:10;12-13 – Hear the word of the LORD…. They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they will rejoice in the bounty of the LORD-- the grain, the new wine and the olive oil, the young of the flocks and herds. They will be like a well-watered garden, and they will sorrow no more. Then young women will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

3. Psalm 9:2 - I will be happy and rejoice in you! I will sing praises to you, O sovereign One! Psalm 16:11 - You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

4. Eccl. 9:7 Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do.

5. Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.

6. 1 Cor. 6:10 sorrowful, yet always rejoicing.

7. Isa 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
