4. CLIMATE State of the atmosphere over a long period of time There are many different climates all over Earth. Earth has 3 major climate zones. 1. Tropical Zone (Hot-found near the Equator) 2. Temperate Zone (Mild-Experiences all seasons) 3. Polar Zone (Cold/Frigid) These zones are determined by latitude, or their relation to the equator.
