How to Apply Applications and supplementary information are available at futurestudents.yorku.ca/graduate Apply online: http://futurestudents.yorku.ca/graduate/apply_now Application fee: $100 CDN (non-refundable) You will receive a 9 digit York reference # approximately 3 business days after receiving your application Log into your MyFile account at yorku.ca/myfile to upload your supporting documents

Documents Upload to MyFile*Official documents required Resume Statement of interest Sample of written work Transcript - initial Letters of recommendation Language proficiency test score (IELTS, TOEFL) if required Entrance tests (ex. GMAT, GRE, LSAT) if required *Official transcripts *In order for a document to be considered official, it must be sent to York University Office of Admissions directly from the testing centre / institution The document deadline is 2 weeks after the application deadline

Graduate applicants can upload transcripts through MyFile. Transcripts provided in this way are sufficient for determining conditional admission to graduate programs Submit one official transcript for every postsecondary institution you have attended after you have been admitted to the program Official transcripts must come directly from, and bear the unbroken seal of, the issuing institution. If transcripts are in a language other than English or French, an English translation from a certified translator is required If you have taken courses at York, we will obtain your York transcripts on your behalf. Be sure to include your York reference number on all correspondence Official Transcripts

After You Apply Track the progress of your application through MyFile at yorku.ca/myfile Once all your documentation is uploaded/received, your file is sent to the program for review The program’s admission committee reviews your application and makes an admission decision The program forwards decisions to the Office of Admissions The Office of Admissions informs students of the admission decision via MyFile and with mailed confirmation If you’re offered admission, you will receive a package outlining your next steps as well as information about any financial support being offered
