4. Forests Forests cover more than 25% of Wielkopolska. These are both coniferous forests, and deciduous, mixed, however, prevail. Puszcza Notecka is the largest forest in Wielkopolska.

5. Lakes The largest lake is Lake Powidzkie Wielkopolski. It is 1036 hectares. In Wielkopolska there are over 800 lakes! However, many of them occupies less than 100 hectares.
