1. MCMLA Membership Committee Reviewed goals of the membership committee with committee members to ensure relevance, providing suggested revisions to the Executive Committee. Distributed & revised promotional materials (posters, brochures and/or virtual meeting flyers) to area library schools. Edited, Created and displayed a poster advocating MCMLA at the annual MLA meeting. Created a draft policy for qualifications and procedures for emeritus status.

2. MCMLA Membership Committee Procured and wrote up new librarians bibliographic information for the Express. Sent an email welcoming all new members and created a method to recognize them at the annual meeting. Created a survey for gathering general membership needs information. Surveyed past MCMLA members concerning the reason for membership lapse and reported results in the Express.

3. MCMLA Membership Committee Devised a plan for archiving surveys. Created a template for matching mentors to mentees and matched these individuals. Created a method for mentor/mentee assessment. Revised membership welcome letter. Followed up with new members repeatedly to increase engagement.
