3 IRI is a type of assessments that serves as a valuable aid in helping teachers determines students reading levels, strengths and weaknesses.

10 The WRI is composed of the word lists that are selected from the basal reader series. It is used to determine the oral reading passages of the Informal Reading Inventory. The Word reading inventory WRI) evaluates students’ ability to recognize words in isolation.

11 Based on Informal reading inventory. Reads short passages independently. Answers questions based oral reading independently.

12 Student must listen to passage that is read to them. Student must answer both literal and inference questions correctly
