The Steps to Take to

 After each semester, you must have the minimum G.P.A. for total hours attempted  The chart at right details this  Failure to do so lands you on Academic Probation G.P.A.  1 – 20 hours 1.4  21-40 hours 1.6  41+ hours 1.8

 Students on Academic Probation must enroll in a minimum of 3 hours credit or 4 hours if you still require LS (LS stands for Learning Support)  The only “good news” is you are still eligible for financial aid  Such students must maintain a 2.0 in all courses taken for credit and an “S” in any LS  Failure to do so results in College Suspension

 While all students see their advisor, students on Academic Probation must contact their advisor for a special meeting on this subject  Before this meeting, think of your goals and the reasons for your academic struggle. Bring your transcript and your interests to discuss  Your advisor will provide strategies for getting back on track, but only you can make it happen

 Students on LS must get an “S” in two out of three or one out of two LS courses taken  If not, LS Probation status results with NO eligibility for Financial Aid  After that you have 12 credit hours or three attempts to achieve the above successful LS course record to exit Probation  Failure to do so results in Suspension LS
