Women… Flapper Image…(Young Rebellious and Fun.) Women were openly partying, smoking and drinking. Women were beginning to move back into the workplace.

All the Singles Ladies… At this time, women were starting to work but not as easily if you were married. Married=Baby, Baby=Leave work

Things Look Different… People began moving from rural areas to cities and suburbs. Why? Shift in Demographics, (stats that describe a population.)

The Spirit of St. Louis… May 20 th, 1927 went from New York to Paris. Trip took 33 ½ hours. National Hero

The Great Bambino… George Herman “Babe” Ruth (the Sultan of Swat.) Record-Setting baseball player for the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.

Mass Media Print and Broadcast methods of communicating information to large numbers of people. Movies, Newspapers, Radio Why was this important?
