5 Millennials in the classroom Two examples: Newspaper analysis assignment Previously lecture/Q&A with examples from 3 or 4 newspapers Now interactive, with students in groups actually handling and marking up papers The Merchant of Venice Previously students were given the text, and teacher-led discussion centered around each act Now, we put Shylock on trial without any teacher-led discussion
