1 You will begin making a podcast about about a story you wrote using a software called PhotoStory. PhotoStory Process 1.Set up a picture folder and save pictures that support your story. 2.Import the pictures into PhotoStory. 3.Type what you want your story to say. 4.Use a microphone to narrate your story. 5.Add background music. 6.Share your story with an audience. Today You Will: Set up your picture folder in Pictures. Find pictures to support your writing and save them in the picture folder.

2 Setting Up a Picture Folder 1.Click on the start button and choose Pictures.

3 The Pictures library will show up. On that page, select “New Folder”.

4 This image will appear on your screen. You will need to name this folder. Name it your first and last name. Then, click the red X to get back to your desktop and wait further instructions.

5 To Save Pictures: 1.Open Explorer and go to Google.com 2.Choose Images and type a picture you are looking for. 3.Click on a picture you like. When it comes up bigger, right click it. 4. Choose Save Picture As 5. Double click your folder and select save. 6. Then back up twice and find another picture.

7 Name ___________________________ Mrs. Nichols’ Class Computer # _____ Create Picture folder and name it First name Last name: ex: Holcomb Molsey Save at least five images that support your story in your picture folder. Upload the images to PhotoStory and put them in order. Mark on your paper where you will read for each image. Orally narrate your story in PhotoStory using the microphone headphones. Add background music. Be sure to turn it down so that your story can still be heard. Share your final product with at least 2 other people.
