4 Back to Agenda…Additional Materials… Apps R Us 2012 Functional Requirements Record Data 1.1 Allow the user to record that he smoked after each cigarette 1.2 Prompt the user to input the date that he would like to quit smoking by 1.3 Prompt the user to input his name, age, gender, and price of his cigarettes packs and cartons Show Progress 2.1 Create and display a multi-line graph showing the user's current progress line and goal line on a daily, monthly, and overall timeline Show Benefits 3.1 Show the user whether he or she is on track to quit by the desired date 3.2 Show the user how much money he or she has saved since he began using the app 3.3 Show the user how much time he has added on to his life by smoking less Publish Benefits 4.1 Allow the user to share the information from the benefits page directly to Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest

Security 3.1 All data is stored locally on the mobile device to reduce security risk Cultural and Political 4.1 There are no cultural or political requirements

10 Back to Agenda…Additional Materials… Apps R Us 2012 Funding There will be two versions, a free, ad supported version and a pro version users can buy We would display ads relevant to the users age and gender Our advertisements would mainly be for health services Our app will be lower than the cost of a cigarette, therefore it won’t hurt smokers to buy this app. It will be a better, cheaper alternative to paying for cigarettes, medicines, or therapy.
