Georgia 1972 How and why did the Supreme Court decide the case as it did? Ruled in favor of Georgia stating that with proper cause given the circumstances of the case the death penalty is okay. How did this case change how we understand or interpret the Constitution/Amendments? Its showed that privies decisions are not permanent and can be over turned at a later date and time.
