1 Let Your Life Count Chapter 8

2 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.

3 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. Romans 12:3-5

4 What should our self image be based on?

5 What is a godly self- image?

6 Humility is not thinking less of yourself. It is thinking of yourself less.

7 Eyes

8 Ears

9 Hands

10 Feet

11 Mouth

12 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

13 We usually interpret this as missionary witness, but you are a witness every second of every day by the way you live your life.

14 What kinds of ministry opportunities are available to you within your own Jerusalem

15 Your own Judea ?

16 Your own Samaria ?

17 To the ends of the earth?

18 Can you think of one person who might feel like an outsider in your church?

19 How can you make that person feel welcome?
