Instructions for using this template. Remember this is Jeopardy, so where I have written “Answer” this is the prompt the students will see, and where I have “Question” should be the student’s response. To enter your questions and answers, click once on the text on the slide, then highlight and just type over what’s there to replace it. If you hit Delete or Backspace, it sometimes makes the text box disappear. When clicking on the slide to move to the next appropriate slide, be sure you see the hand, not the arrow. (If you put your cursor over a text box, it will be an arrow and WILL NOT take you to the right location.)

Choose a category. You will be given the answer. You must give the correct question. Click to begin. Jeopardy

What are corresponding angles?

A quadrilateral in which both pairs of opposite sides are parallel.

What is a parallelogram?

A parallelogram in which at least one of the angles is a right angle.

What is a rectangle?

A parallelogram in which at least two consecutive sides are congruent.

What is a rhombus?

A parallelogram that is both a rectangle and a rhombus.

What is a square?

A quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides.

What is a trapezoid?

A triangle in which no two sides are congruent.

What is a scalene triangle?

A triangle in which at least two sides are congruent.

What is an isosceles triangle?

A triangle in which all sides are congruent.

What is an equilateral triangle?

A triangle in which all angles are congruent.

What is an equiangular triangle?

A triangle in which one of the angles is a right angle, also including the hypotenuse and legs.

What is a right triangle?

Any segment or angle that is congruent to itself.

What is the Reflexive Property?

Three sides of one triangle are congruent to the corresponding sides of the other triangle.

What is the Side- Side-Side Postulate?

Two angles and the included angle of one triangle are congruent to the corresponding parts of the other triangle.

What is the Side- Angle-Side Postulate?

Two angles and the included side of one triangle are congruent to corresponding parts of the other triangle.

What is the Angle- Side-Angle Postulate?

After it is known that two triangles are congruent, matching angles and sides of the triangles are proven congruent.

What is CPCTC- Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangles are Congruent?

A line segment drawn from any vertex of the triangle to the opposite side, extended if necessary, and perpendicular to that side.

What is an altitude of a triangle?
