5. Procedure 1. Label petri dish top and bottom with:  Period  Group #  & Seed Type  Cut the paper towel into four, 8cm x 8cm size pieces  Place a paper towel square in each petri dish with 5 seeds in each (use forceps to carefully place seeds)  Cover the seeds with a second paper towel square  Measure 5ml of water using a pipet and pour 5ml into each petri dish  Place one dish under the grow light and the other on the brown table  Take observations over a period of 7 days, record observations
