Step 1- find the variable. Step 2- Add the opposite of the number on the same side of the variable. Step 3- Add that to the other side. Step 4- to solve problem.

Step 1- change the problem to addition and change the sign of the following. Step 2- use addition rules.

Step 1- find the variable. Step 2- do the opposite operation use the exact same number. Step 3- solve problem. Don’t change any signs use exact same numbers

Division is the same as the multiplication rules One negative sign means the answer Is negative Two negative signs means the answer is going to be an positive

1- order from least to greatest 2- find the median (middle) if there are two data points in the middle find the mean of the two data 3- find the upper quartile median above the original MEDIAN 4- find low quartile the median blow original 5- find lower extreme (outlier) 6- find upper extreme (outlier)

(smaller than one) When the scale factor is smaller than one the new figure(dilation is smaller than the original)

Dilation – when a figure is increased and decreased by a scale factor Scale fraction – the number you multiply by to get a dialation (larger than one)
