A prime number is a whole number greater than 1, whose only two whole number factors are 1 and itself. Some examples of prime numbers are 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23 and 29.

A composite number is a positive integer greater than 1 that is not a prime number. 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 30.
