4 Brian Sifferlin (Exercise Science) Shadowing Requirements/Procedure/Expectation Students shadow at main hospitals, therapy facilities & privately owned sites 90-100 hours of shadowing during senior year 3 times a week Approximately 90 minutes a day 3 different rotations Students placed by career path interests (Instructor Discretion) Documentation and writing is critical component Systematic Observation by instructor is encouraged

6 Karen Deitrick (Teaching Professions) Field Experience Requirements/Procedure/Expectation Students field experience at district schools 120 hours of field experience during senior year 3 times a week Approximately 75 minutes a day Multiple rotations Students placed by teaching path interests (Instructor Discretion) Professional dress required Classroom duties include: working with small groups, one on one instruction, grading, observe & assist in implementation of strategies, assist in transitions, etc..

8 Mark Kircher (Manufacturing-Engineering) Internships Requirements/Procedure/Expectation Provide resume & transcript Formal interview with company C average or better in all subjects Exemplary attendance Must attend all academic classes Company required dress Student performs all assigned work duties Student completes weekly work report Company evaluates student performance & transfers feedback to instructor Average 15 work hours per week Summative quality & quantitative performance review

9 Mark Kircher (Manufacturing-Engineering) Internships Benefits Company pays students in conformance to state & federal guidelines Transition to full time employment in 4 year technical development program 36 college credits towards pre-engineering degree at Stark State All expenses paid by Timken Co. (tuition, books, etc..) Hourly wage paid during work and class time Student Testimony: Isaac Browning

10 Chuck Richards (Marketing) Student Work Activities Requirements/Procedure/Expectation Tiger School Store: Hands on retail/business operation Product/Service (Food, Appeal, Spirit, Supplies, Specials) Nike Partnership Daily Work schedules and roles B2B, B2C, C2C Inside and Outside selling and promotional hours: 120 CRM Professionalism/Responsibility/Accountability Monthly evaluations (rubric) with assigned job description Job Descriptions: Store Manager, Promotion Coordinator, Visual Merchandiser, Food Merchandiser, Appeal Merchandiser, Spirit Merchandiser, Supply Merchandiser, Financial Bookkeeper, Inventory Controller, Technology Tech
