2. This is an enterprise which will set up a real life example of the practical applications of computing it will cover; Databases and word processing Hardware- stage lights, projectors Gaming- a massive industry which is a common link between a modern lifestyle and computing

The game “Guitar Hero” is a popular rock and pop music video game allowing the player to battle other virtual guitarists and ascend to the status of ‘guitar hero’ There is a multi-player option in which to players battle with music to find out who is better at the game. We intend to use this function to allow all 1 st to 3 rd years to battle in a contest to settle who is the best guitar hero in school.

Why we believe this will be popular It often causes debates as to who is the best at guitar hero- pupils organise among themselves very small tournaments in their own homes to determine this As a social event this will encourage people to come and support there friends, we plan to profit by this by charging for tickets

5. The money we raise will be divided a portion will go to charity and the rest will be used to organise a trip for the class

6. The Curriculum for Excellence It encourages responsibility as we organise this entirely ourselves with only supervision from teachers We all contribute, effectively, for the good of the class We will link the computing coarse with performing arts, business management, graphic design and maths
