2 1. What is a preview animation? A preview animation is a low-color, low- resolution rendering of the animation.

3 2. Why should preview animation be used? Preview Animation allows you to check an animation for correct movement before creating the final rendering so that unnecessary time is not spent rendering.

4 3. How is the Make Preview dialog box opened? Make Preview dialog box is opened by selecting Make Preview… from the Rendering pull-down menu.

How do you assign a map as a background? 1.Pick the Environment Map: button in the Background: area of the Common Para- meters rollout in the Environment dialog box. 2.Select the type of map you want to use in the Material/Map Browser and pick OK. 3.To allow adjustments to the map parameters, the map should be assigned to a material, and then retrieved from the Material Editor.
