1 FY14 TV PROJECTS PROVYS CHANNEL MIGRATION Date 29/10/2013

2 Executive Summary The EMEA London office currently has 6 channels whose end to end process is completed using Provys which is outside Sony’s existing Broadcast Management enterprise system Vision. This results in duplication of business operations and IT support. The aim of this project is to realise the benefits of a Global IT strategy for TV Networks by rationalising Broadcast management systems onto a single platform; Vision. 2

3 Project Proposal Objective: To have all EMEA London based channels on the London Vision database by Q2 2014 Solution: Migrate the existing Provys channels in the following order: Approach: Each channel will go through two phases of migration: Phase 1: data extraction from Provys, clean up, and manual imput into Vision Phase 2: channel cutover to Vision (approximately 8 week cycle) The time which each channel is cut over will depend on the number of developments required in Vision and the timeline for their delivery. Dependancies: With the exception of SET Africa, all Provys channels require Sony to be on Vision Version 4 to successfully migrate. In addition to this AXN Italy and all German channels require Vision enhancements before they can be migrated The timeline for this project is therefore strongly linked with the London Vision upgrade – as reflected in the Project timeline. 3 Oct 2013 – Jan 2014:SET Africa Feb – Mar 2014:SciFi Russia & AXN Italy Mar – May 2014:All German Channels
