God’s Glory on God’s Earth Now and in Eternity

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. 3 They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. 4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. Psalm 19: 1-4

Isaiah 40:5 promises; “Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the L ORD will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the L ORD has spoken.”

In Ezekiel 40: 1 – 2 the prophet Ezekiel testifies “Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, 2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory.”

Psalm 102: 25 – 26 says “In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded.” Luke 21: 33; Jesus is recorded saying “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

And in 2 Peter 3: 10 we read, “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.”

Ecclesiastes 1:4; “Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.” Psalm 78: 69; “He built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth that he established forever.”

1 Corinthians 3: 11 – 15. “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.”

Revelation 14: 13 says “Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”

Acts 3: 21 reads “Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.”
