How will we protect people’s access to water around the world in the face of dwindling resources due to climate change? 3. Climate Change will affect all countries and all communities in the world. None will be spared. But how nations and communities manage will depend on their existing resource base, their power and their positions in society and the global economy. This session will explore how and why the South is generally more affected by climate change than the North, the devastation of the environment by the behaviors of the North and Big Oil, and how to clean up and sustain the environment while not burdening poorer nations and communities.
