Global Initiative 250 members of the online coalition 40 programs listed in the Global Directory Smoke-free buildings by state (many states do not have counts yet) : Maine: Approx. 50,000 units & 13 housing authorities Michigan: Tens of thousands of units (at least 25,000 units) & 23 housing authorities Minnesota: Over 110 buildings (including Presbyterian Homes, Cerenity Homes, and many Twin City Christian Homes) & 9 housing authorities Oregon: Over 150 buildings (many Guardian Management) Utah: Over 456 buildings Washington: Over 150 buildings (many Guardian Management)

Common Problem, Common Goal We’ve all received calls from frustrated, often ill tenants looking for assistance in eliminating secondhand smoke exposure in their apartment units Our goal is to eliminate secondhand smoke exposure in individual apartment units
