Revelation 5:1-14

HUMILITY BEFORE EXALTATION

Philippians 2:5-11

That is the culture of the Kingdom.

In three places Jesus says that everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and everyone who humbles himself will be exalted.

The destructive road of pride Definition of hope:

And HOW do we get humble and stay humble?

Change your focus to look at God’s majesty on a regular basis and it will keep you humble.

Don’t think that just because you are humble you can never do anything great.

The only way to greatness is to humble ourselves before God!

The Bible says that Moses was the most humble man on the face of earth.

Later he was honored by being able to stand with Jesus and Elijah on the Mt. of Transfiguration as one of the two greatest earthly leaders.

Why is this not happening today?

AND NOW:

Ephesians 2:4-7 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we

were dead in transgressions-it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in

the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable

riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus

Let us be a church that seeks the honor of God and not men!

Let us create an environment of humility that leads us to submission to God’s control that will lead to His glory!

His glory seen IN our lives and THROUGH our lives is our highest honor.
