Solar Power runs off the suns energy and light. It helps to reduce power bills, greenhouse gas emissions and it assists each household’s contribution to reducing climate change. Modern solar systems convert sunlight into electricity panels which are put on the roof. Many people are changing to this system because it is environmentally affective and it saves a lot of money.

The first Solar cell was created by Charles Fritts in In 1931 a German man called Bruno Lange (Dr Bruno Lange) developed a photo cell using silver selenide in place of copper oxide. Many years went on and many people created many new things.

Solar power is important because it saves a lot of money and it can also be very good for the environment.
