Editing From the very early days images were recorded on to film which was then played in a projector. These days most of the editing we do is with hard drives on cameras, software and computers.

Editing Most of the terms that we use still hark back to the days when editing was a manual process.

A little boy is playing with a helicopter toy in his front garden. The boy breaks his helicopter and immediately looks for something else to play with. The little boy finds a ball and starts bouncing it around against his garden fence. The boy’s ball bounces over the garden fence and into the street outside.
