Theoretical Probability The theoretical probability of an event is the ratio of the number of the favorable outcomes to the number of possible outcomes. Goldilocks When Goldilocks visits the home of the Three Bears, she can choose to eat from Papa Bear’s bowl, Mama Bear’s bowl, or Baby Bear’s bowl. She can also choose to eat her porridge plain or with brown sugar on top. Finally, she can choose to top her porridge with apples or blueberries.
