Don’t be afraid; live dangerously! Matthew 10:

1. SUFFERING is to be expected (verses 24-25)

2. God will BRING everything to light (verses 26-27) “We have nothing to fear because the Lord will one day reveal the secrets of men’s hearts And so, according to the Good News I preach, this is how it will be on that Day when God through Jesus Christ will judge the secret thoughts of all.” Romans 2:16

3. We FEAR God alone (verse 28)

4. God CARES for His own (verses 29-31)

5. Christ HONOURS those who CONFESS Him (verses 32-33)

“I am writing this to you, my children, so that you will not sin; but if anyone does sin, we have someone who pleads with the Father on our behalf---Jesus Christ, the righteous one. And Christ himself is the means by which our sins are forgiven, and not our sins only, but also the sins of everyone.” 1 John 2:1-2 “For all of us must appear before Christ, to be judged by him. We will each receive what we deserve, according to everything we have done, good or bad, in our bodily life.” 2 Corinthians 5:10

6. We cannot ESCAPE conflict (verses 34-39) “Those who try to gain their own life will lose it; but those who lose their life for my sake will gain it.” Matthew 10:39 “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” Matthew 16:24

7. We can be a BLESSING to others (verses 40-42)
