Dimensional Analysis Conversion Factors

A snail slimes his way along a desk. The total distance he traveled was 1.35 meters. How many centimeters did he travel?

What make a good conversion factor? The numerator and the denominator must be equivalent. The ratio always equals 1. Multiplying by 1 does not change the value of the number. Only the unit is converted to a useful equivalent.

A car is travelling down the road at 80 kilometers per hour. How fast is it going in meters/sec?
