Tai O-the Venice of Hong Kong Man 5C (09)

Tai O is a small fishing village on Lantau Island. It took 45 minutes to get there by bus from Tung Chung.

In Tai O, we can see several dolphins swimming and jumping a short distance from the boat.

Tai O is famous for its dried seafood, shrimp paste, salted fish and a traditional snack called ‘tea dumplings.

In the old day, people crossed the water by a hand-drawn sampan. A boatman pulled a rope to move the boat across the water. Now, there is a bridge for commuters instead.

Tai O is one of the best places to watch the sunset.

Tai O is certainly a great place to spend a relaxing day when you visit Hong Kong.
