A Humpty Dumpty Christmas By: MHS-LL-12

Which one is Humpty Dumpty?

Humpty Dumpty had a big fall He should have been holding on tighter To the giant wall

He still lay broken and had a giant crack Because the kings men Could not glue him back.

It was Christmas time And Humpty was mad He still was broken, lonely, And sad.

But then Humpty could see With the moon as his light Along came something Through the Christmas Eve night

“Santa?” he thought, “Oh, it better be! Maybe he is coming To rescue me.”

Indeed, it was Santa That came to the scene But then Santa saw that Humpty was too grouchy and mean!

Humpty looked at him With a sour look on his face “Put me back together! So I can get out of this place!”

But Santa knew He had to act right. He could not help him If he was going to fight.

Humpty realized His mood was much to bad He apologized to Santa And Santa was glad!

Now he could help him And Humpty knew the price To get help from someone else You have to be nice.

So Santa worked for an hour To fix his new friend He did everything in his power To get to an end

With tape and glue And a little magic, too Humpty was standing tall. He vowed to always be nice And never climb another wall!

Choose Your Ending! Humpty goes home to his family! Humpty Dumpty goes home with Santa!

So Humpty skipped on To his family that night He hurried to reach them And make Christmas right!

When he got home he knew He had been broken for a while His family was so happy It made Humpty smile!

The Christmas he had Was the very best ever And he could thank Santa And wished for it to be Christmas forever! Choose another ending!

But Humpty Dumpty Didn’t know what to do. Where would he go Oh, Humpty was so blue.

Then Santa exclaimed, “It’s Christmas time, you can’t be alone! You’ll can come with me, Have you ever flown?”

Humpty was so happy! He jumped with glee! He said to himself “This is the best Christmas there could ever be!”

So he and Santa Hopped in the sleigh that night And with the reindeer’s help They flew out of sight! Choose another ending!
