Jude 1:4 - For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. –First of all note that here in Jude we are dealing with 2 classes of men. Beloved – loved by God – Jude 3, 17, 20

Epistle of Jude November 10, 2013 Bob Eckel 4 Jude 4:1-4 -“Greetings, The Faith & Ungodly Persons 2” –This long ago phrase of modification refers to God Himself – Matt 11:21, Heb 1:1 –for this condemnation God knew this would occur, but keep in mind that condemnation relates to God’s judgment on this unbelief. Although this could be translated as pre-ordained, this result is still because these tis persons denied the Grace of God. –A better interpretation is temporal, the consequences of this denial. –ungodly persons destitute of reverential awe towards God condemning God –who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness This grace can be applied to ‘the faith’

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. How much are we aware of these certain people today?
