2 Maintenance Week Cryo Gate Valve –Dirt-like black substance on Valve—cleaned –Repair Successful; no more leaks. Rebuilt Scroll pump installed and working. Original Scroll Pump Opened: –Bad bearings. –Bad seals. –Replacement parts ordered. Welded over “too large” hole in test box.

4 Pump Test on Panels Nothing Happened…

5 Teaching Schedule Changed Hemmick’s teaching load will drop: –Last week 6 Lectures + 1 Recitation –This week 0 Lectures + 1 Recitation This condition lasts for the next 6 weeks. Drees teaches main lecture until mid April.

6 Shot 5 Modified INFN box to hold single prototype- sized GEM. Shot went normally. Good QE from local system. Next shot: –One chicklet. –One small GEM –Both go to Bob for accurate QE measure. Expect Gain Test Box Running This Week. –Complete Test Cycle except for Glove Box!!
