 Saratoga: Turning point of the war, French join the American cause.  Yorktown: A united Patriotic/French army force General Cornwallis to surrender. Effectively ending the war.

 American diplomats go to Paris to draw up terms of the British surrender.  John Jay, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin.  Ended the war between the United States and Great Britain.
