The plan: Video clip of the day Moodle Site How to survive a car crash? Assignment #1 –Complete by the end of class today. –All 4 parts.

Questions to Answer: 1) Approximately how many people a year loose their lives in car accidents? 2) What are the three different types of impacts in a car crash? 3) What role does the car’s computer systems play in protecting the passengers?

Questions to Answer: 4) What is the critical time in which a car accident victim needs to get to the hospital? What medical technologies are being used to increase this efficiency? 5) How to car companies want to use GPS to keep accidents from happening all together? 6) What is the main safety goal for the technology of our future cars?

To do: Complete Assignment #1 Next class, we are going to continue the introduction to technology and look at what impact it has had on our society.
