Landforms Geography for Children

Kinds of landforms A plain is land that is mostly flat. A river is water that flows through land. An ocean is the largest body of water that is salty. A hill is land that rises up but not as high as a mountain. A lake is water with land all around it. A mountain is the highest kind of land.
