How to make it Hāora / Oxygen

Ice cream container Hāora / Oxygen

Water in container Hāora / Oxygen

Boiling tube Sink the tube in the container Hāora / Oxygen

Stand the tube up while it is still full of water Hāora / Oxygen

Get another boiling tube Hāora / Oxygen

Half fill with Hydrogen Peroxide. Caution: safety glasses needed

Hāora / Oxygen Bring the bung and delivery hose close

Hāora / Oxygen Put a pinch of Manganese Dioxide in (from a spatula) Then remove the spatula and put in the bung - quickly

Wait while the gas bubbles push the water out of the first boiling tube Hāora / Oxygen

When the water is gone… Hāora / Oxygen

…Remove the bung and delivery hose …and the boiling tube with the reactants Hāora / Oxygen

Put a cork in and put the boiling tube of gas to one side so you can use it later Hāora / Oxygen

This tube has Oxygen gas in it and it is now ready to be tested. Turn it up the right way and leave to one side so it can be tested.#
